info
Juneteenth is the celebration of the ending of slavery. Slavery destroyed so many families.
On Saturday, June 14, 2008 - the day before Father's Day - men and children are asked to march in Unity - "Bridging A Connection". Women's groups are encouraged to uplift these men and children by providing them with water and/or nutritional snacks as they march.
Each organization should provide its own table and tent if deemed necessary. Serving from a cooler is suggested.
In an effort to ensure each block has a water station and to include your group's name in our program book, please complete the form to the right.
