CALLING ALL MEN & CHILDREN!!!
Men & children - biological or not, from school groups, from church, from the neighborhood, cousins, scouts, sports teams, all ages, boys & girls - are asked to join North Carolina Central University (NCCU) Chancellor Charlie Nelms, Honorary Chair - Durham Juneteenth Celebration & Unity March, in a March from the campus of NCCU to the Durham Juneteenth Celebration on Fayetteville Street at Hayti Heritage Center.
Make a sign or banner to represent your group! Wear a t-shirt or team jersey! Represent! Chant! Sing! Dance! Play your instrument! Show some love!

Cars can be parked at Heritage Square Shopping Center and take the shuttle to NCCU.

SHUTTLE SERVICE INFORMATION
Shuttle buses will run from Hayti to NCCU from 9:00 am to 11:00 am to transport marchers to the beginning of the Unity March. This allows marchers to leave their cars at the site of the Durham Juneteenth Celebration and the end of the march, Fayetteville Street @ Hayti. Transportation will NOT be provided at end of the March. It is not mandatory to register but requested to allow us to better plan for transportation and security.
