THEME:
"BRIDGING A CONNECTION"
This fun filled, educational and uplifting day begins with a processional from NCCU with men marching with their children (biological or not), church and school groups, athletic associations and teams, boys and girls clubs, etc.
Men have an opportunity to connect with the youth of our community – allowing them the chance to forge a relationship that carries on after this event.
Women organizations dispense water and nutritional treats to the men and youth as they proceed down Fayetteville Street, supporting the men and our youth.
The Unity March will proceed down Fayetteville Street ending at Lakewood Avenue, in front of Hayti Heritage Center.
Registration for the Unity March is requested but not required.
There the Annual Durham Juneteenth Celebration will take place. Click on link for more information.
